+ Hi, Mr. Skibbe

- Hi girls, let's start.

 

+ Okay, how did you start your football career?

- My football life start with chasing a ball in the street like every boy. My brothers love football much and our home in germany in front of the schalke04's training area. i was watching them every day so i start football in schalke team.

 

+ Great. And when did you become a coach?

- I had a knee injury when i was 18 . I had to have a surgery. So when i was 21 schalke04's general menager rudi assauer asked me become a under 17 teams coach. Thats how i start my coach career.

 

+ Well, what do you think about turkey and turkish people?

- Oh, thats a wonderful country and full of helpful and hospitable people. Foreign people only know about istanbul and holiday destinations but i travel lots of places in turkey and i love every region especially Eskisehir.

 

+ Whats the best thing about Turkey? (We heard that was foods)

- Ugh,yes! (laughes) Unfortunately i like your foods very much. It can be good if they are not this delicious because i cant stop eating. Also i like your people and amazing nature. I'm so happy now because winter is ending , spring and summer is much more better in Turkey .

 

+ Then, what do you think about Eskisehir?

- Eskisehir is very young modern and dynamic city. Eskisehir means oldcity but it must be the opposite. People's perspective of life is very wide. Eskisehir is an international city so i am so happy to live in this city.

 

+ What is that one memory you will never forget in Eskisiehir?

- 3.5 years ago we won against Besiktas in our first match thats unforgettible. We also won agains Galatasaray in january at Ziraat Turkiye Cup and Besiktas victory in leuge these are some of the wonderful memories of mine. This kind of important matches all stadium and our team become one piece and it feels wonderful.

 

+ How many children do you have and  their ages?

- I have 4 girls they are so sweet and beautiful. I love them so much. The biggest one is 24  years old. Second one 22, third one 9 and the last one 6 years old.  Big ones have a boyfriend but i'm still number one for my little 2 girls.

 

+ Hahah, thats funny . Well, which one is the most meaningful victory in Eskisehirspor?

- 3 years ago Besiktas victory was the most important match becouse their first time with a foreign coach thats a new experience for the team. We had a wonderful first half of the season and thats the reason for my return . People of the Eskisehir love me and trust me.

 

+ What is the target in this season?

- This year Eskisehirspor's 50th year and its important we have to stay in the super leauge but fist half of the season eskisehirspor only got 17 points we have to collect more points in second half and we will create a better team in next seasons.

 

+ Okay, and would you like to add anything?

- I want to say that Eskisehirspor is playing for this city and for the people of Eskisehir. I want our fans to trust us and support us.
